Individual musical aspirations, fulfilled or yet to be met, are always good in any band because it pushes them to work harder towards a common goal. No one knows that better than ‘Jetstream’, currently one of our top bands, who continue to expose their music beyond our shores and win new fans. They recently came back from Malaga triumphant after winning the Indio Festival competing against top gigging bands from Madrid and Malaga.

Nolan Frendo, Stu Whitwell, Aaron Ignacio, Justin Pau and Tristan Tonna are Jetstream- the band who started out as a very good ‘covers’ band and quickly progressed to writing their own songs, winning our International Song Festival and establishing themselves as a ‘force’ playing live locally and at the GMF festivals, including the MTV Gibraltar Calling ‘100 Club’ event in London last November. What makes them tick so well? Globe Magazine finds out.

Jetstream are featured in this July’s Globe Magazine in a superb write up by none other than Gibraltar’s music journalist Joseph Adambery.

The write up also features some fab photos of our performance at the Indio Rock Festival by talented photographers Eye Candy.
